PHX SHUFFLE

Hello to all you beautiful PHX SHUFFLE readers, my name is Riley Tiernan, and I will be filling in for your usual writer, Jacob Blieu, on this addition to our favorite ongoing series. Other than a writer change, it is still business as usual. I'll be giving you three songs from artists out of our booming local music scene for your enjoyment. This week we have everything from lo-fi melodies, to collaborations that you’ll be proud to hear from our fellow Phoenicians.

Pat Kanji : "It's Almost Over" (Prod. KMPLT)

Up first, we have a new video from the ever impressive local, Pat Kanji. In his new video for, "It's Almost Over", Kanji shows us how well he can craft a project through introspective lyricism and outstanding distorted visuals (thanks to up-and-coming director OCD Visuals). Kanji is yet to put out a piece I don't like, and continues his streak with this new video.

Cory P ft. Dann G & Emmitt Dupree : "NAIMSAYIN Remix"

A remix that will leave you moving. In the new video for the "NAIMSAYIN" remix, we get to hear local rappers: Cory P, Dann G and Emmitt Dupree, all go hard to put together a collaboration that you didn't know you needed. The video shows you exactly how you should listen to this track, at a huge party where everyone is down to get down. If you've been searching for a new track to bounce to, look no further.

fresco. : "shackles"

A lo-fi tune to make you groove. Here we have the self produced track, "shackles", with a sound that gives you a good feel for who Fresco is. With only room to grow, and with more tracks like this one that I'm sure are soon to come, we are about to get another shining star from the AZ scene.
