This Weeks Theme: EXTRA SERIOUS

Wow, can’t believe its been like 4 weeks of me not forgetting to post….why aren’t you clapping?

Whatever. Well this week i wanted to get serious alright. I mean like some real deep shit. Bold and Brash. The kinda shit that’ll make you cry, laugh, angry, even all three at the same time. I’m talking about art that should be in the Louvre. Something to finally trump Picasso (that hack). Someone could fill a cathedral with the art I’m about to show you.

Let me just reiterate, this is art for the gods, hands down my best wo— PBBBTT. Oh lord that was hard to type with a straight face. HA, did you think this blog was for good art? No silly this is art to make you feel better about your own artistic ability, and also to lower expectations. Just look at the title of this blog, what did you expect. oohhhoo you should see your face.. “art for the gods!” “Woow, in the Louvre he says!” HAHA

………i mean if you do know someone in the Louvre that would be interested then uhhhh

Enough of my rambling lets get to making fun of my art

I’m also adding things to the contagion store so stay on the lookout .Its actually dope prints from my graphic design stuff— none of this childish shit you see here. If you do want that childish shit let me know!

Think of this picture as an in-depth allegory of what happens whenever i make art

THIS WEEKS THEME: Turn on, Tune in, Drop out

Welcome back! if this is your first time reading this, then I want you to lower your expectations right now, i mean it. I mean, just read the title, and treat it as such. These are drawings that you would pin up on the fridge to raise the confidence of your 3 year old (in this case it’s me!).

However, on my blog, we’re moving away from that little kid shit (yeah I’m fuckin edgy bro) and if your familiar with the theme then you already know where I’m going. I won’t beat around the bush here, I’m talking about Lysergic acid diethylamide, L.S.D, ACID, LUCY ,L. The drug that makes you see sounds and hear colors and makes you fucking craaazzy!!

For legal reasons I must say I don’t condone drug use of any kind, and any and all of these drawings are just what the drug may or may not have, allegedly, sort of, maybe inspired………..Enjoy ;)

As always the ̶s̶̶h̶̶a̶̶m̶̶e̶̶f̶̶u̶̶l̶ SHAMELESS social media

This was from my latest adventure (eh erruh not that i do that stuff, you read my legal thing right? *nervous laughter*), I really don’t know what I’m drawing until I’m about half-way done with it

Oh man. What hours of vapor wave with colored LED lights in the room can do for you

I was drawing this while I “dropped out” and my friend decided this was a perfect time to introduce me to his whole family……….…I don’t really talk to that guy anymore…... Right before that encounter was also legitimately the most insane I’ve ever felt. (imagine this blog if i was even more insane.. It’d probably be full of sarcasm and pessimism…That would be awful right?………ʷᵃᶦᵗ ᵃ ᵐᶦⁿᵘᵗᵉ)

Speak into the Mic with Joshua Roman

Kassandra Ramirez

Being a visual artist and curator for Contagion's visual arts blog, I am constantly observing my environment and the web for unique creators whose work inspires me to take my own creations to the next level. Simply scrolling down my feed on Instagram, I came across Joshua Roman's piece, "Just Breathe," and was left in awe. His beautiful piece truly took my breathe away.

Based in California, Joshua Roman undoubtedly breaks artistic boundaries with his intriguing use of vibrant lines and swirls. Creating in the style of Figurative Realism, Roman takes viewers to a different dimension. With art displayed in galleries from Portugal to New York, I see Roman's art quickly capturing…
